Mochi is a beauty camera by ZET Studios. Your photos and camera feed are processed entirely on your device. We have no user accounts and no servers of our own — the only data that leaves your device is what the advertising SDK needs to show ads, described below.
Mochi shows optional rewarded ads — for example, you can watch a short ad to unlock a look for 24 hours or remove the watermark on a save. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and limited ad-interaction (usage) data. See Google's advertising privacy information. Mochi Pro removes all ads.
On iOS, Mochi asks for permission before allowing ads to use your device's advertising identifier (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt). You can decline — the app remains fully functional and you'll simply see non-personalized ads. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If you buy a subscription (Mochi Pro), the transaction is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details. Mochi Pro unlocks every look, removes ads, and removes the watermark.
If you turn on the daily streak reminder, Mochi schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing leaves your device.
Mochi has no accounts and no analytics of its own. The only data collected is the advertising identifier and ad-interaction data used by AdMob (see Advertising above), and only when you allow it. We do not sell your data.
Mochi is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because it shows advertising, it is intended for a general audience.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change and material updates will be noted in an app release.
