Buyer Map

Buyer Map terms

Version 2026-10-13.2 · applies to Market Snapshot, Buyer Map and Pipeline Refresh orders

The short version.

A Buyer Map is research: organizations we identify from public sources as likely users of your product, with a contact point and our assessment of how easy they are to approach.

It is not a list of people who have asked to hear from you, and we do not promise replies, meetings or sales.

Once research starts, fees are not refundable. If a lead is wrong at the time we deliver it, we replace it.

1. What you are buying

ZET Studios ("we") provides research services. Depending on the plan, you receive a market report, a spreadsheet of organizations, and the calls described on the Buyer Map page. After you order, you fill in a buyer brief: your product, customers, target buyers, locations, competition, exclusions and how you will use the leads. We turn it into a scope confirmation by email. The brief, the scope you accept, and these terms describe exactly what we deliver.

Research starts only once we have your brief and you have accepted the scope. Delivery times are counted from that acceptance. If we do not receive a brief within 30 days of your order, we may close the order and refund it less card processing fees.

2. What a lead is

Each lead is an organization that, at the time of delivery:

Fit is judged against the brief and scope you accepted. A lead that matches them is not invalid because your priorities changed after delivery; tell us and we will adjust your next order or Refresh. Each lead carries a "Checked on" date showing when we confirmed it.

Named people are included only where the organization publishes them in a business role. Where a field cannot be confirmed from a public source, we leave it blank rather than guess.

3. What we do not promise

Ease-of-entry scores, volume estimates, market notes and price benchmarks are our professional judgment from public information. They help you decide where to start; they are not guarantees.

4. Invalid leads are replaced

A lead is invalid if, at the time we delivered it:

Tell us within 14 days of delivery, listing each invalid lead and the reason. We check each one and replace every lead that meets this definition with a new one of similar fit, normally within 10 business days. Replacement is the remedy for invalid leads; it is not converted into a refund or credit.

The following do not make a lead invalid: no reply, no interest, a decision to stay with a current supplier, a buyer saying they use a tender or group contract (we flag these in the score), a contact who has since left, or a phone or email that changed after delivery.

5. Payment and refunds

6. Disputes

If you are unhappy with a delivery, email [email protected] first. Most problems are fixed by a replacement under section 4 or by adding segments to a future order. If you open a card dispute or chargeback for a delivered order, we will respond to the card network with your accepted scope, your agreement to these terms, the delivery record, and any replacements we made.

7. Using the data

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the fees you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or indirect losses arising from use of the research.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms for future orders; the version you accepted at checkout applies to your order.
