Your camera never leaves your phone. Here is exactly what that means.

Updated 23 September 2026: PTFighter can now scan your face to put your own head on your fighter. Those photographs are saved on your phone. That is described under The face scan below, and it is the one place where an image is kept.

Updated 15 September 2026: the free version now shows ads. What that changes is described under Advertising below.

Your camera stays on your phone.

PTFighter counts your reps by tracking your body's joint positions through the camera. That analysis happens live, in memory, on your device. While you are training, no frame of video, no still image and no body-pose data is recorded, saved or transmitted. What leaves your phone is the result: how many reps, of which exercise, how long the set took and how deep the movement was.

The face scan.

If you choose to scan your face, PTFighter keeps up to five still photographs of your head — front, both three-quarter angles and both profiles — so your own face can sit on your fighter. This is the one part of the app that saves an image, and it only happens if you run the scan.

Those photographs never leave your phone. They are stored in the app's own private folder, they are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are never sent to other players — everyone else only ever sees your drawn fighter. Nothing in the app's networking code can transmit them.

You can delete them at any time: Settings → your fighter → Delete head photos. Deleting the app removes them too. Skipping the scan costs you nothing but the likeness — the drawn fighter works exactly the same.

Without an account, nothing is sent anywhere.

PTFighter works fully offline. Your creature, your training history and your progress live on your device. You only need an account if you want friends, duels or clans — features that cannot work without one.

We don't know your name or your email.

Signing in uses Sign in with Apple, and PTFighter asks Apple for no name and no email address. Apple gives us an anonymous identifier and nothing else. You choose a handle; we generate a friend code. That is the whole of your identity to us.

What we store if you sign in.

Your handle and friend code. Your creature — its type, level and stats. Your training — rep counts per exercise, how long sets took, and range-of-motion measurements. Your battle record, your friendships, your clan membership and your past duels.

Who can see it.

Your handle, creature, battle record and rep totals are visible to people you have added as friends, and to members of a clan you join. That is the point of those features. If you never add anyone, nobody sees anything.

Advertising, on the free version.

The free version of PTFighter shows ads: a banner at the bottom of some screens, and a short video after you finish a workout. These are served by Google AdMob, which is part of Google. PTFighter Pro has no ads at all.

What the ad network sees.

To serve and measure ads, Google receives your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It does not receive your reps, your training history, your creature, your friends or your clan — none of that is shared with anyone.

You choose whether ads are personalised.

On first launch iOS asks whether PTFighter may track you across other companies' apps and websites. Saying no is completely fine: you get exactly the same app, with less relevant ads. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland you will also see a separate consent form before any ad loads, and you can change your answer later.

No analytics, and nothing sold.

Beyond the ad network described above, PTFighter contains no analytics library and no tracking pixel. We do not sell your data and do not share it with data brokers.

Deleting your data.

Deleting the app removes everything held on your device. To delete your account and everything on our servers — account, training history, friendships, clan membership and duel records — email us and we will erase it within 30 days.

Children.

PTFighter is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the new version applies.
