None. Reef has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no backend server. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
Reef uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to lock the phone to the activities you choose. The apps you pick are represented by opaque tokens that Apple keeps on the device; Reef cannot read app names or see your selection, and none of it ever leaves the phone.
If you set a PIN, it is salted and hashed and stored in the device Keychain. We never receive it. Face ID / Touch ID is handled entirely by iOS — Reef only learns whether authentication succeeded.
When you add a website as a tile, Reef opens it in a locked in-app browser pinned to that one site. Your child's browsing happens on the device; Reef does not log, store, or transmit it. The sites themselves are governed by their own privacy policies.
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information. Apple handles the transaction under Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you tap "Send feedback," Reef opens a pre-addressed email in your mail app. Sending it is your choice, and it includes only what you write plus basic app and device info (like iOS version) to help us fix bugs. Nothing is sent unless you press send.
Reef is a tool parents use to keep their child inside a safe, contained space. Because we collect no data at all, the app is safe for all ages.
