These terms are an agreement between you and ZET Studios Inc. ("ZET Studios", "we", "us"), a company based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. They cover your use of zetstudios.ca and the apps and services we offer. We've tried to keep them in plain English.
By using this website or any of our apps or services, you agree to these terms. If you're using them on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for that business. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or services.
These terms apply to:
Some services have their own terms — currently Buyer Map and Lunch Room. Where they do, those terms apply to that service first, and these terms cover anything they don't.
Some of our apps have their own terms page under zetstudios.ca/terms/ (for example Mochi). Where an app has its own terms, those apply to that app, and these terms apply to anything they don't cover. Any app we publish that does not have its own terms page is governed by these terms.
If you got an app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Some services need an account, an email address or other details from you. Please give us accurate information and keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may change, pause or stop a service, or a feature of it, and we'll give reasonable notice where a change materially affects something you've paid for.
Previews, concepts, free scans and sample posts are provided to show what we can do. They're not a commitment to deliver any particular result.
Prices are shown on our website or in a quote, in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise, and may exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Unless stated otherwise, payments for work already done or periods already started aren't refundable. If something has gone wrong, email us and we'll do our best to make it right. Purchases made inside an app through the App Store or Google Play are billed, cancelled and refunded through that store under its policies.
For client work, your individual quote, statement of work or contract takes precedence over these terms wherever they differ — including on scope, deadlines, payment schedules, ownership and refunds.

The website, our apps, our software and tools, and our brand belong to ZET Studios or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them as intended.
Content you give us (your text, images, logos and business details) stays yours. You give us permission to use it only as needed to provide the service you asked for. Ownership of work we create for clients is set by the client's quote or contract.
Our services rely on third parties, such as hosting, payment processors, app stores, AI models and social platforms. Your use of those may be subject to their own terms, and we aren't responsible for their availability or actions. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we don't control them.
Our website, apps and services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't make any warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that a service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Results from research, scans, AI-generated content and marketing — such as leads, rankings, reach or sales — are not guaranteed. Please review anything we produce before relying on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZET Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question during the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or rights you have under consumer protection law.
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. App-specific privacy policies are listed under zetstudios.ca/privacy/.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll give reasonable notice. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
